Friendship:
Ive come to realize something about friendship,
especially ours...
Just in getting to know you and to understand you,
Ive discovered a lot of things about myself,
Ive learned, best of all, what
I need in a friend.
It was never really clear to me until you and your
special kind of caring made me see.
Isnt it funny how we can go along
enjoying the laughter and sharing that
friendship holds,
not realizing how much were learning about
ourselves from each other?
I never thought of that before, but then Ive never
had a friend like you.

The Friend who Cares:
When we honestly ask ourselves
which person in our lives means the most to u s,
we often find it is the one who,
instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures,
has chosen rather to share our pain and
touch our wounds
with a warm and tender hand.

of despair or confusion,
who can stay with us in an hour of grief and
bereavement, who can tolerate
not knowing, not curing, not healing
and face with us the reality
of our powerlessness,
that is a friend who cares.
